Phil, thanks for the info.
So if my CAD package qualifies, it does indeed sound like a good deal.
I guess the first question though is whether my CAD package will
qualify. I'm currently running Ashlar-Vellum Cobalt v8 (the most
current version). It's not real common (more so on the Mac platform)
but it's a $5400 package nonetheless. So it's priced in the same range
as SW, Inventor and other mid-range products. I actually like it pretty
well, but the current version is pretty buggy, and it's sup****t of
constraints is weak. For the type of MCAD work I do, I think a SW or SE
type product would help me more. I was originally leaning towards SW,
but if I can get this deal I may reconsider (or at least arrange for a
trial). Do you know if there is a list somewhere of what packages do
qualify?
