It is not strictly possible to print a gray line instead of the dashed
line. 
You could do something similar with the line fonts that Pro/e uses by
using 
a dot font for hidden lines instead of the dash font. There is some stuff
in 
Help>Fundemental>Printing and Plotting on how to key fonts to system
colors 
through table.pnt entries, including how to vary the spacing of dots,
dashes 
and patterns. You could come up with something which, if not exactly what 
you want, could be close.
