Re: How Does ProE Do In Areas That SolidWorks Fails Miserably At?

"Someone elses SW models make take some effort to figure out the
construction but it certainly isn't what I would classify as difficult
(remember, rollback is your friend)."

Rollback isn't my friend. Rollback is often the wrong tool when what
is often really needed is much more powerful mapping tools.

Time is money. I don't think it's ever acceptable that anyone should
have to remodel the part because it's faster to remodel the part then
to try and figure out someone else's design intent... yet somehow this
has become an accepted practice. Why is this?

http://paulsalvador.blogspot.com/

"Majority of the users do NOT pay for the software,.. they are not
committed to the software investment or it's future.
Majority of the users DO NOT report problems, why would they, it's not
their problem, they get paid regardless."

I'll modify the above to illustrate my point:

Majority of users do NOT have a problem remodeling the part /
assembly. Why would they, they get paid to do it, they feel it's not
their problem, they get paid regardless.
