The trick, I think, is to create a radial/diametral hole first, not a
coaxial hole. It's expecting an axis and a plane as references, in either
order, but, when picking the second reference, be sure to hold down the
CTRL
key. The axis becomes the radial/diametral reference; the plane the
angular
reference. No need to create a moveable datum. When you do the axis
pattern,
pick the angular value, etc. You should then get the radial/diametral axis
to show up with the dimension attached to it with the Show/Erase dialog
but
sometimes it doesn't like to show. The only other thing you need is to
make
sure the detail option radial_pattern_axis_circle is set to yes. Then, if
all else fails, do 'Show All'.
Sorry, I (and my sledge hammer) missed the other 26,495 times but hope we
passed muster this time as you're obviously frustrated and pissed at Pro/E
(a not uncommon occurrence). I guess I've cussed out Pro a couple times
myself.
