It depends on a lot of factors
If you have the original source code you can recompile it in v8 and if
the code is still valid it will run, however M95 is pretty old and
internal functions and code may be so different that it may not work
even after recompile..
What is this mdl ie what is it called? There maybe a newer version
available....
What does it do exactly? There maybe the same features in an already
available mdl..
I often find new version on the web simply by googling have you tried?

Are you capable of duplicating the mdls functions through the macro
recorder functions in either VBA or MSbasic, and hence make your own
custom version?
Are you prepared to pay a programmer to create the above macro?
Have you tried the bentley ngs instead of this ng there are many more
users and there even is a programers section you might get lucky and
somebody could make you version for free if its exites their interest
enough and could benifit many others...?

There is a company online www.MDLapps.com which can create a custom tool
for a fee but if your request is for atool with potential wide appeal
they will give a free single licensed copy.. but it has to be really
wide appeal and get them interested enough to do you a demo version..
Good luck
Lorys
