Re: Store MicroStation Elements in a Microsoft SQL Server database

I need to store the elements in a hierarchial fa****on, and need to be
able to make searches and selections from this. We are talking a lot of
objects here, and I believe a SQL Server can accommodate really large
collections of 3D objects.

But I can just as well read the elements from a dgn file without being
connected to MicroStation. Would that make a difference with regards to
converting elements to byte arrays?
