Re: Store MicroStation Elements in a Microsoft SQL Server database

Thank you for your replies.

I have not successfully foung much information about
DesignFileToSQLLoader or fsagsql on Internet. However, I understand
from your replies that saving the elements will not be a problem. If
saving a DGN file in a row in the database, I would guess that saving a
single element would be just as easy.

Which data type would I need to use for the MS elements within SQL
Server? And if saving the whole DGN file; which data type would that
be?

This is to be used for saving information about oil platforms in SQL
databases, where the 3D model is part of the information to be stored.

Thanks!

Havard
