MicroStation COM interface?

by patrick.ht.janssen@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Aug 11, 2005 at 05:47 AM

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out whether MicroStation has a COM interface
(thereby allowing C++, VB or Java applications to access MicroStation
functionality)? Has anyone had any experience with this? If yes, then I
have a couple of further questions:

1) Is there a COM Type Library? Is it embedded in the exe or dll or
elsewhere?

2) Are the COM cl***** listed in the Registry?

3) Does the COM API provide early bound 'vtable' interfaces (thereby
making it unecessary to use the IDispatch interface)?

Thanks for any help...

Patrick
