Dear Manjunath,

Are you looking for the dummy/tiles metals that are used for density
filling ?
It's very hard to check this with a simple script because you've to
check the connectivity of each piece of metal.

If it is for density purpose, many foundries use a Layer purpose which
is not the standard 'drawing' intended for normal layout drawing/
routing. I've seen metalX.dummy, metalX.tile ...
Dedicated Verification CAD tools sup****t this feature, so don't waste
your time in reinenting the wheel ...
