How do I derive 2-d drawings from 3-d files?

by "Neil B." <neil_delver@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 25, 2008 at 09:54 PM

Hello, I'm facing a project with lots of AutoCAD 2005 drawings in 3-d. I
don't know much about the details. They want to derive 2-d drawings from
those (and I assume, nice looking plan views not just slices as-is off the
solids.) Could anyone tell me how to best approach this project? I
assume
quite a bit of work to polish up but wondering about ways to derive slices
out of the 3-d configs better than listing out data, draw new with x,y
filters
etc. Thanks.
