Hi. I'm wanting software (free hopefully) that can do a particlar job.
Let me explain.
You have (say) a picture of a square, i.e a simple line drawing of a
square.
Of course, that's four sides. I want to be able to pick a point anywhere
on
the outline of the square and the program to *automatcially trace out a
new
straight line*, beginning at the chosen point and at an angle from the
side
of my choosing. When the traced line encounters one of the other sides of
the square it must "reflect" off the side, coming off at the same angle of
incidence, and continue until the traced line encounters another side and
is
again "reflected" It would be helpful if it was possible to set the number
of "reflections" of the traced line.
Anyone know what kind of program would do this? Free preferably. TIA.
