I have noticed that when I build a roof system using 2x12 rafters that the
section drawn through roof is shown correctly at 12" +, but on the
elevations the rakes appear to be 12"+ in width as well. I would like to
show rakes that are 6". Is there a way to maintain a 12" roof system for
section purposes yet have the rakes appear at 6" for elevations?
