Ah, you didn't say you had bound the xref. Sometimes binding just 
doesn't work, specially in Acad im****ted dwgs (I think it works better 
in recent Icad versions). Assuming it did work properly, other blocks 
might be nested and need a couple of purges to dig down to them.
