That's the sort of deal Cadkey offered me a few years ago. The base cost 
$AUS1500, plus this & that until you eventually got to $7500 for
everything 
(they said) you really wanted to draw ductwork in 3d in this case. There
was 
a simple animation which looked impressive, but how far is that from what 
you really do? I reckon it takes 2 weeks full time to form a fair idea
about 
whether a software is any good to you... unless it's obviously useless
from 
the outset.
