viewport issue

by "smf" <sven@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 24, 2006 at 12:57 AM

Hi all.
When migrating from Autocad, I discovered that it's more difficult to
arrange viewports in my Icad (Bricscad v6). If I drag a corner of a
viewport, then the view of the model moves relative to the drawing
frame. And it does not seem possible to snap to lines in the model when
in layout space (which is handy for aligning views of sections that
aren't aligned in modelspace).

The models I've tried to get printable are all exrefs. Could that be
it?

Is this familiar, and is there a way to improve performance? I'll get
in touch with Bricscad, but wanted to check here first.

We have a licensed Acad LT, but don't want to use that for fixing
layouts of course.

Regards,
Sven
