Version 9.5 vs. 9.54

Hey All

Could someone tell me if Chief 9.5 could open 9.54 files.  Or do they
have to be of the same version?

I'm looking to buy a 9.5 (Or higher if needed) and I know someone who
has the 9.54 and it might be difficult to work together on them if
they aren't compatible.
