The last time Max ran out of memory on my computer, there was a serious
problem with the computer rather than with Max. That's what you need to
check. 2 gigs of memory is more than enough to run Max. I have 1 a gig and
a half and i run Max with both Photoshop and PSP open at the same time.
And
I also use XP pro. The problem is somewhere in the hardware or windows
software.
