This time I hope you can help me with upgrading my pc performance :o)
My pc is really getting slower and slower because my projects are becoming
bigger and bigger - so I need some new hardware...
This is my hardware now:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core Processor 4200+ (2.20 GHz)
Ram: 2046 MB
Graphics Card: Radeon X1300 on a 19" CRT monitor with the screen
resolution
1280x1024
OS: Windows Vista 32bit version
3D Studio version 9 - with extension 1 installed
As far as I know this is an ok fast pc - am I wrong?
Will the performance in 3D Studio improve if I invest in a better graphics
card? If yes - which can you recommend? It will need to work with a 22"
widescreen monitor as I count on buying such one very soon.
I could of course install extra 2 GB RAM in the machine - that would
probably speed things up a little bit.
Are there any other things I can do to imrove the performance?
