Good question! I've used Wise for Windows Installer (et al), W.Y.S.E.
that is. Check www.wyze.com (I think, it's been a LONG time!). Anyway,
they manufacture 'packaging-apps'. I.e, , They make the applications,
which make Windows (and other o.s. apps), Install/Uninstall without
overwriting this *.dll, or using the directory /APPS/3D/.. instead of C:
\My Do***ents., of which I CANNOT STAND btw, (NEVER installed to Program
Files, or My Do***ents EVER for that matter....oops...on a limb/tangent
here.;( ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in Win.whatever, is usually licensed by
them. I know this, because I was trained by them in Toronto, isn't that
special.....;\ ;)

Anyway, though their main apps may not conceal your various *.DXF *.MAX,
*.COB, *.LWO, *.XYZ objects, by 'default, they MAY have a utility and/or
tool that can basically revert them back into some other proprietary
format, which is the ONLY thing that can view/use them. Does this make
sense? In other words, your various *.OBJ files might actually be
contained within a *.DLL or activeX plugin, and only be accessable via
the utility in use.

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is break-down and buy a
(windows presumably) application development system. (I.e., c++, Delphi,
etc.). BUT....that's sort of like buying an industrial caterpillar-
bulldozer so you can insure you have a 'secure area', to display the
items in your garage sale.

One last idea, there is most likely a 'real-time' encrypted binary-server
type utility out there, which might allow your primary app to securely
load-in files from an encrypted archive. (Check Winzip/WinRAR).
MAN...I am SUCH a geek. :\.....

Best of luck!!!
