The default texture mapping works using the UV coordinates of the
surface, so if you have an untrimmed rectangle you'll get exactly what
you want...if it's trimmed, you'll only get part of it. You can use
ShrinkTrimmedSrf to get it closer, or use the more sophisticated
mapping tools now available in V3(installed with the Brazil WIP, it
works for other renderers too,)and V4.

You'll get better answers at the 'real' Rhino newsgroup(Help->Technical
Sup****t in Rhino,) this alt.3d.com was a failed experiment from 1997.
